Injection Molding Process Technician

2nd Shift - 3:30PM - 12AM (Mon-Fri, and occasional weekend opportunities) OR

\n

3rd Shift - 11:30PM - 8AM (3rd Shift Starts the week on Sunday evenings, and concludes on Friday mornings). Some weekend opportunities may also be available.

\n

\n

Our client is looking for a high-quality, creative Injection Molding Process Technicians with a Can-Do spirit, for the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Mold setups and teardowns, machine startups/shutdowns, assist with maintenance duties, and troubleshoot molding processes within established and monitored parameters.
\n
• Document process settings and assist with approved process changes.
\n
• Minimize production scrap rates and downtime through efficient troubleshooting and maintenance efforts.
\n
• Assist in training operators and molding personnel on standard operating procedures.
\n
• Assist with automation integration and auxiliary equipment setup.
\n
• Support engineering and maintenance teams during equipment & process troubleshooting.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve process consistency and efficiency,
\n
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 2-5 years of experience in plastic injection molding setup, processing and troubleshooting.
\n
• General understanding of scientific molding concepts and injection mold design.
\n
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow company procedures and work instructions.
\n
• Implement, explain, and defend molding process adjustments
\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Experience working with robots, EOAT (End-Of-Arm-Tooling), and automation equipment.
\n
