\nFull Time - 36 hours/week, Day Shift
\n$20,000 Bonus for RRTs
\nAll Part- and Full-Time RTs will train on and be assigned to the NICU on a rotating basis.
\nOverview:
\nPerforms direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.
\nQualifications:
\nEducation: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
\nLicensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
\nCertifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
\nOther: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
\nEquipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.
\nPreferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Preferred Licensure:
\nPreferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
