Job Opportunity: Cardiothoracic Surgeon

We are excited to announce an opening for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our dynamic and high-volume practice in Des Moines, Iowa. We welcome J1 and H1B visa candidates!

Key Responsibilities

• Join a team of four surgeons, with plans to expand to five to enhance growth and innovation.
• Provide first call support for Advanced Practice Providers (APP) along with inpatient rounding and clinic assistance.
• Benefit from 24/7 intensivist support in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU).
• Engage in a high surgical case volume, exceeding 1,000 cases annually.
• Participate in pioneering procedures such as beating heart surgery, robotic heart surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery, ECMO, VAD, TAVR, and TEVAR.
• Utilize the EMR system EPIC for patient management.
• Contribute to the General Surgery Residency program as faculty.
