This short-term assignment covers a leave of absence from September 8 to December 18. You’ll support a high school caseload at a single site, working with approximately 50 students—4 of whom require only consultative services—and managing 7 initial or re-evaluations during the leave. Collaboration comes easily with another full-time SLP on-site to provide support and guidance, giving you the perfect environment for continued learning and growth.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Speech-Language Pathology license (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification (preferred)
  • Experience with high school students and pediatric populations
  • Recent school-based SLP or healthcare SLP experience
  • Skilled in assessments, therapy planning, and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 50 high school students at one site
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students
  • Complete and document 7 evaluations during assignment period
  • Collaborate with an experienced on-site SLP for best practices and problem-solving
  • Maintain clear communication with school staff and families
