An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to serve students in grades K-12 starting in late August and continuing through early June. This role supports local schools with multidisciplinary efforts that enhance learning, address student needs, and promote healthy development. With 15 hours each week, spread over Monday through Friday, you’ll have an impactful, yet manageable schedule. The exact school building will be determined soon, but all sites are easily accessible within the community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations, developing interventions, and supporting diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to interpret data and make recommendations for educational planning
  • Experience working within school settings and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Open to school social workers with relevant licensure and experience, though preference given to school psychologists

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments, gather data, and document findings
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students, as needed
  • Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assist in developing strategies that address behavioral, academic, and emotional concerns
  • Collaborate with school teams to implement prevention programs and support services
  • Maintain detailed, timely records in alignment with district and state requirements
