What We're Looking For:

  • Active FL DOH SLPA licensure is required.
  • At least 2 years of professional SLPA experience, including a minimum of 6 months working within a school setting.
  • Familiarity with traditional caseload management, delivering services to school-aged children and adolescents.
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements promptly (candidates with FL school district prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse must verify fingerprint status and apply for a JLA badge).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language interventions consistent with students’ individualized education plans.
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs and educational teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and session documentation.
  • Engage with families, teachers, and support staff to maximize student success.
