An exciting contract opportunity is available for a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting near Saint Johns, FL. This on-site role begins on August 3, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, encompassing the full academic year. You will be working full time—35 hours per week—and will likely be assigned to one primary school location.

In this role, you’ll provide direct speech services to students, supporting a traditional caseload. Your experience in school settings and established licensure in Florida will ensure you can effectively meet the diverse needs of children.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active FL DOH Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an SLPA
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a school-based setting
  • Must complete Florida school fingerprinting requirements; previous fingerprints may be transferred if cleared through the AHCA Clearinghouse
  • Willingness to obtain a JLA badge as needed (can take up to 10 business days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of students across various age groups
  • Follow treatment plans and collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educators
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student progress
