Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Manager ready to lead and oversee all aspects of a pharmacy operation in a well-established setting. The position offers either an interim or permanent role with a structured schedule designed to support both patient care and business success.

Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Closed Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
  • Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to meet financial goals.
  • Lead business development efforts within the store and community.
  • Supervise and evaluate pharmacy support personnel and pharmacy associates, ensuring regulatory and company policy adherence.
  • Facilitate training programs and verify completion of all mandatory training for pharmacy staff.
  • Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Provide expert counseling on drug use, dosages, interactions, and monitor patient progress to optimize therapies.
  • Maintain quality assurance activities to promote patient safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Keep workspace and department facilities clean, organized, and up to company standards.
  • Complete continuing education as required by state law.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Pharmacist License.
  • Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines (required).
  • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
