Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Apopka, FL
Schedule/Hours:

  • Thursdays, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (starting 7/30 at CAN Plantation)
  • Operation hours Mon - Thurs: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense HIV/AIDS medications accurately and efficiently
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with patients and healthcare providers
  • Maintain high-level patient care and support sensitive to the unique needs of the HIV/AIDS population
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy software proficiently for prescription processing
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and providers
  • Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing operational needs
  • Uphold punctuality and commitment to scheduled shifts with a positive attitude

Desired Experience / Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years retail or specialty pharmacy experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing explicitly noted on resume
  • Sensitivity and non-judgmental approach toward patients with infectious diseases
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Active Florida pharmacist license
  • Updated resume highlighting relevant experience with HIV/AIDS medications
  • Software savvy, preferably with QS1 experience
