Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain credential in the state of Missouri
• Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and supervisors
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the varied needs of students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing session notes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement targeted communication interventions as described in students’ IEPs
• Assist with screening and progress monitoring tasks to support each student’s growth
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational team members to ensure coordinated care
• Prepare and adapt materials for individualized and group therapy sessions
