Qualifications & Skills:
- Active Texas SLP License required
- Open to candidates with their CCCs or those completing their CFY
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and K-12 student populations
- Solid understanding of school-based documentation and IEP processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, collaborating with families, educators, and a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students K-12, targeting individualized goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a diverse caseload (further details forthcoming)
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise on students’ speech and language needs
- Maintain timely and accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in accordance with district standards
- Offer guidance and support to staff and families to maximize student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school-based trainings
