Step into an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLPA) working in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, contract position starts August 12th and extends through May 28th, offering the chance to provide meaningful interventions and support to young learners in grades 1-4. With a caseload of approximately 80-100 students, you'll play a vital role in helping children develop essential communication skills during pivotal years of their education.

Ideal candidates will bring a collaborative spirit and a passion for supporting diverse student populations in a school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active state licensure/certification as an SLP-CCC or SLPA
  • School-based SLP or SLPA experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience managing elementary school caseloads (grades 1-4) is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide both direct and consultative speech and language services
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and consultation for students with speech and language needs
  • Complete assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Implement interventions targeting communication, language, articulation, fluency, and social pragmatics
  • Monitor and report on student outcomes to support academic and social success
