School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Dacula, Georgia

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity providing dedicated, in-school nursing care for a 5th grade student near Dacula, GA. As an LPN in this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting a student’s health needs throughout the school year in a one-on-one capacity. Your expertise will ensure the student receives consistent, compassionate care at school and during their daily commute, making a real difference in their academic experience.

What You’ll Need:

• Active and unrestricted GA LPN license
• Previous experience serving as a 1:1 nurse in a school setting strongly preferred
• Skill and confidence with g-tube changes, g-tube feeding, applying supplemental oxygen as needed, and monitoring vitals
• Ability to follow medical and care instructions with precision
• Reliability and comfort accompanying students to and from school, including on the school bus
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational and healthcare teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Meet the student at their home each morning, provide care during their bus ride to school, remain attentive throughout the school day, and accompany them home in the afternoon as outlined by their IEP and physician’s directives
• Administer g-tube changes and feedings, supply oxygen when medically required, and closely monitor the student’s vitals
• Maintain detailed and accurate health logs as necessary
• Collaborate with staff and parents to communicate health updates
• Foster a supportive, positive, and safe environment for the student

This on-site position offers the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing professional relationships and make an immediate impact in a school community. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a consistent 37.5 hour workweek.
