Job Description

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further training or education related to child development is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to follow directions and implement educational plans developed by teachers
- Must be reliable and punctual
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction, supporting both individual students and groups as needed
- Provide guidance to students with academic assignments and classroom activities
- Encourage students’ positive behavior and engagement while ensuring a safe environment
- Support students with special needs under the guidance of certified staff
- Help with classroom organization, preparing materials, and maintaining a welcoming space
- Supervise students during transitions, recess, and other non-classroom times
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and, when appropriate, families
