This contract opportunity is tailored for professionals skilled in both special education teaching and behavior intervention, offering a split assignment: mornings as a high school Special Education Teacher, and afternoons consulting as a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) at the elementary level. This dynamic, full-time, school-year position provides a chance to collaborate with caring teams in a supportive educational environment near Maple Grove, MN.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minnesota Teaching License required; candidates must hold a Tier 3 or Tier 4 license in Special Education
  • Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher and/or Behavior Specialist within school settings
  • Expertise in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers on positive behavioral supports and strategies
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs across multiple grade levels and settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support high school students in the mornings as part of an engaged teaching crew
