An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to make a difference within a vibrant elementary school setting. This contract role runs from August 2026 through May 2027, providing the chance to work directly with students onsite in a collaborative environment. You’ll serve a caseload of approximately 50 students, supporting their communication development and empowering them to thrive in the classroom.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current SLP State License and Educator Certification required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working with elementary-age students in both group and individual settings.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for referred students.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and school/district guidelines.
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress.
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records for compliance and progress tracking.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
