School Speech Language Pathologist - Round Rock, TX

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for it
• State licensure or appropriate credentials to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience in a school environment is highly preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
• Ability to adapt therapy plans and techniques to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists
• Provide direct intervention and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and prepare required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development training, and parent conferences
• Consult with teachers and parents to support classroom learning and carryover of strategies
