Step into an engaging, contract-based opportunity where your expertise in school-based speech-language pathology can make a lasting difference. Located near Warren, MI, this onsite position offers a full-time schedule from August 25, 2026, to June 18, 2027. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am–3:25pm, in a supportive environment focused on the growth and development of students from kindergarten through third grade.

Bring your skills to a well-structured K5–3rd grade building, managing a caseload of approximately 40-45 students, with the potential to serve up to 60 as new evaluations arise during the academic year. Your collaboration with dedicated educators and families will help shape individualized learning and support experiences for each student.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure and certification for school settings
  • Recent experience delivering speech services in an elementary school environment
  • Proficiency with student evaluations, goal setting, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, intervention strategies, and relevant documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students within your caseload
  • Consult with classroom teachers on interventions and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with school staff and parents
  • Complete evaluations and re-evaluations for students as required
  • Serve as a key member of the MET team and act as a case manager for assigned students
  • Maintain thorough, accurate service logs and documentation for all services provided
