Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to provide teletherapy services to students in a school setting. This contract position focuses on delivering remote speech and language support, ensuring effective communication development through telepractice methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of students' speech and language abilities via teletherapy platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs.
- Deliver engaging and interactive virtual speech therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and professional development as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license appropriate for the state of North Carolina.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services, preferably within educational environments.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to virtual delivery.
- Ability to navigate telecommunication technology platforms efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a virtual setting.
Location: Position services students in the Hope Mills, North Carolina area through virtual platforms.
