Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exceptional opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist to support a busy imaging department at a dynamic teaching hospital. This contract role features three 12-hour night shifts per week (Friday-Sunday, 6:30 pm-7:00 am), with consistent scheduling throughout the contract. The department is well-equipped, fast-paced, and dedicated to delivering advanced imaging for a diverse adult and pediatric patient population.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ acute care experience; trauma facility (Level I, II, or III) exposure required.
- Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS required.
- Proficiency in general X-ray imaging (head, neck, spine, extremities, chest, abdomen, etc.) and trauma imaging.
- Strong experience with C-arm fluoroscopy is necessary; O-arm experience preferred.
- Competence handling portable studies (bedside), intraoperative cases (spinal, ortho, neuro, peds), and high-acuity patients.
- Prior use of EPIC EMR is necessary.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills essential.
- Comfortable providing guidance to x-ray students, as needed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Rotate between Emergency Department, OR, Main Radiology, and portable X-ray locations on a shift-by-shift basis—no floating outside the department.
- Deliver high-quality imaging services to a wide range of patient types (including neonates and complex trauma cases).
- Collaborate closely with lead technologists, supervisors, radiologists, residents, and the wider clinical team.
- Maintain compliance with department protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
- Utilize advanced department equipment, including Shimadzu and Konica portables, Philips C-arm, and GE O-arm.
- Contribute to a positive, supportive department culture centered around high performance and mutual support.

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
