This full-time role, based onsite at a friendly district near Newport, OR, involves working 37.5 hours per week, with a focus on conducting evaluations and assessments for a diverse student population. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or appropriate state licensure for Oregon
- Prior experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-12 school setting
- Strong proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, developing IEPs, and supporting special education teams
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with students, educators, and parents
- Ability to thrive onsite in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and one-on-one or small group counseling as needed
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute subject matter expertise
- Maintain organized, accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
