Science Gen Ed Teacher - Lake Zurich, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related discipline
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with the required endorsement(s)
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum planning, instructional design, and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Commitment to working onsite; remote/virtual work is not available for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the 6th grade curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for science
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support student learning and curriculum consistency
• Utilize diverse instructional strategies and assessment tools to meet the needs of a variety of learners
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and classroom participation in accordance with school policies
