Travel Pharmacist Contract - San Angelo, Texas

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Travel Retail Pharmacist – San Angelo, Texas (6-Month Contract Assignment)

Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified Travel Pharmacist for a 6-month contract assignment at a retail pharmacy in San Angelo, Texas. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and patient-focused pharmacist who is comfortable working in a dynamic retail environment and is flexible with scheduling.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours
• Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm (rotating schedule)
• Rotating every 3rd/4th Saturday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with all state and federal regulations
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling, including medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient and compliant workflow
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards
• Deliver a high standard of customer service in a retail pharmacy setting

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting required
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Immunization Certification required
• Flexibility to accommodate varied scheduling needs
