Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support a dynamic pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC as an Infusion Pharmacist. This contract opportunity offers immediate start with 3-5 days per week coverage, focusing on home infusion therapies within a patient-centered and fast-paced setting. There’s potential for long-term placement or transition to permanent hire for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapy patients
  • Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications, ensuring accuracy and safety
  • Ensure compliance with USP standards and other regulatory guidelines
  • Provide clinical guidance and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow and maintain patient safety
  • Maintain meticulous documentation to meet regulatory requirements

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts, typically a few days each week; exact days confirmed as scheduling develops

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
  • Proven expertise in sterile compounding techniques
  • Strong familiarity with USP guidelines and pharmacy regulatory standards
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt swiftly to changing demands
  • Willingness to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge if converted to permanent role (not required during contract phase)
