Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based environments is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech/language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and track progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input for eligibility/IEP development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with regulatory requirements
