Key Skills & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state SLP license and ASHA certification (or CFY eligibility)
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and remote delivery models
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services for a diverse student caseload
- Complete assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions as needed to address student needs
- Track goals, monitor outcomes, and adjust interventions to maximize student achievement
- Attend meetings and participate in school-based initiatives pertaining to speech-language services
