This full-time position covers a maternity leave, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through October 27th, 2026. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Georgia
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, especially with middle school students, is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the IEP process and ability to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions for students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and therapy effectiveness
- Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and compliance processes
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff to facilitate classroom accommodations and student integration
