Job Opportunity: General Surgeon

Our organization is on the lookout for a skilled General Surgeon to enhance our esteemed surgical team located in Mason City, IA. This vibrant and high-volume practice is equipped with advanced technology and provides a comprehensive range of surgical services.

Team Composition
  • Join a collaborative group consisting of 3 General Surgeons, 1 Acute/Trauma General Surgeon, and 2 Physician Assistants.
  • Experience a hybrid model that combines elective surgeries and clinic work with acute and trauma surgery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgeries.
  • Conduct endoscopic procedures and provide consultations in both the clinic and emergency department.
  • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for patient documentation.

Qualifications
  • A degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school is mandatory.
  • Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
  • Ability to secure medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
  • Must possess or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa.
