As a physical therapist serving students for the upcoming school year, you will work closely with a small, manageable caseload of six students, providing direct services to four and consultative support for two. Your contributions will help shape positive student outcomes while you enjoy a role that values both autonomy and teamwork.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current, active licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Demonstrated previous experience in a school setting
• Strong communication and consultation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• A passion for fostering student development and independence
Core Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality direct physical therapy services to assigned students
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies within educational plans
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide professional consultation to staff and caregivers regarding student needs and best practices
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet each student's unique requirements
