ProCare Therapy is seeking a fully credentialed School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, onsite contract position in Palo Alto, California. This opportunity allows an experienced SLP to support students ranging from preschool through 8th grade while collaborating with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals. The ideal candidate will have school-based experience, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to provide high-quality speech and language services in a dynamic educational setting. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred for this assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services for students ages 3 through 8th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families to support student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs.
  • Support students across assigned school sites as determined by district needs.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 55 students.

Qualifications:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist credential/license required.
  • Fully credentialed SLP candidates only; Clinical Fellows (CFs) cannot be supported for this position.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Bilingual SLP candidates preferred.
  • Licensing assistance available for qualified candidates.

Experience:

  • Previous school-based speech-language pathology experience preferred.
  • Experience working with preschool, elementary, and middle school populations beneficial.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, evaluations, and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school teams.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.

Industry: Education

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential required.

Work Hours:
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 37.5 billable hours per week (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Contract Dates:
August 4, 2026 – June 4, 2027

Caseload:
Students ages 3 through 8th grade, with a caseload of up to 55 students across assigned school sites.
