Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with proper endorsements
- Demonstrated experience with curriculum design, lesson planning, and classroom instruction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
Responsibilities:
- Deliver dynamic, standards-aligned science instruction to 8th grade students
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages inquiry and critical thinking
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and formative assessments
- Collaborate closely with fellow educators and support staff to enhance educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate records for attendance, grades, and communication with families
