Job Description

With an itinerant assignment, you’ll engage with diverse student populations and collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 5/27/2027
Weekly Schedule: 35 hours (7-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid State License as a School Psychologist (LSSP required)
- Recognition as a Licensed Psychologist
- Previous experience in school settings or direct services to students preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention techniques, and special education processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Capacity to adapt to multiple campuses and shifting caseloads
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, actionable reports
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate actively in the development and review of students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
- Advise and consult with staff, parents, and outside agencies to facilitate supportive educational environments
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations
