A unique opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a tribal clinic and hospital setting in Arizona. This night shift role centers around providing critical pharmaceutical care within the Emergency Department, operating on a true decentralized model. The position is ideal for clinicians with solid hospital or residency experience who are adaptable, proactive, and dedicated to patient care in remote settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services in the Emergency Department during night shifts
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for emergency cases
  • Participate actively in clinical decision-making and support the emergency care team
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the RPMS system (similar to VA’s Vista)
  • Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications as required

Schedule:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off
  • 10-hour night shifts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist (AZ Pharmacist license is not required due to tribal facility status)
  • Residency or hospital experience highly preferred
  • Willingness to work in a remote tribal clinic setting
  • Strong clinical acumen in emergency care environments
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and committed to high standards of patient care
  • Willingness to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
