Bring your expertise in school psychology to an engaging, in-person contract opportunity working with K-8 students across two supportive educational environments near Orland Park, IL. As the driving force identifying and supporting the academic and social-emotional needs of young learners, you'll play a vital role in fostering each student's ability to thrive in the school setting.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
• An active, valid State/District School Psychologist license (IL PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement required)
• Minimum of two years of school-based experience
• Proven dedication to living out core educational values
• Persistent advocacy for the success of every child

Key responsibilities include:

• Preventing, assessing, and supporting academic/social-emotional needs impacting learning, relationship building, and self-regulation
• Active participation on special education, 504, and MTSS teams for screenings, evaluations, and planning individualized interventions
• Serving as an MTSS systems consultant; leading interventions and progress monitoring for Tier 3 scholars
• Maintaining caseload documentation, direct service records, and compliance with all regulations and timelines
• Preparing reports and presenting findings in IEP and other school-based meetings, including document collection from outside organizations with proper consents
• Keeping up-to-date on best practices and evaluation tools; sharing knowledge through professional development as needed
• Acting as a liaison and expert in child development, collaborating with school teams, parents, and stakeholders
• Maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the role
• Partnering with the school community through participation in meetings, ongoing communication, and timely response to inquiries
