Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity near Fall River, MA, where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a genuine impact. This full-time position spans from August 2026 to June 2027, serving K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. You’ll provide essential psychological services to a caseload of approximately 70 students, helping foster academic and social success throughout the academic year. With a workweek of 35-40 hours across five days, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to create supportive learning experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist Credential required
  • Master’s or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention techniques in a K-12 setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments for students referred for psychological services
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and staff
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and support school-wide mental health initiatives
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Support social, emotional, and behavioral development through individual or group counseling
