As a School Psychologist, you'll deliver evaluation, consultation, and direct support to students, partnering closely with fellow educators, families, and administrators to foster positive learning experiences. This assignment offers a unique chance to make a difference by covering two maternity leaves, supporting students and teams during a critical period.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Active Minnesota School Psychologist license or certification (required)
- Direct experience participating in IEP goal development and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Familiarity with, and ability to interpret, state and federal education statutes, codes, rules, and regulations
- Collaborative approach to partnering with staff, families, and administration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Core responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessment, counseling, and direct support to students
- Lead and consult on the creation and implementation of IEP goals and PBSPs utilizing FBAs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student needs are met and compliance standards are upheld
- Support in the monitoring of student progress and recommend interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate records aligned with district and legal requirements
This 40-hour-per-week role runs from late August through winter break and offers the satisfaction of meaningful impact during two vital leaves of absence. You’ll work onsite, fully immersed in a supportive and engaged school community.
