Step into a rewarding opportunity working with elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis. This role begins in August, covering a maternity leave for the first 12 weeks of the school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive school environment near Chicago, IL.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current SLP license or eligibility in Illinois
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) also considered
  • Experience providing speech-language services within schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting elementary-aged students with diverse communication needs

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students on an elementary caseload
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and implement treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
  • Provide consultative support to staff and families as needed
