This contract position offers a unique blend of direct services and evaluations, initially supporting a maternity leave at an elementary school and then transitioning into a full-time role at an Early Learning Center.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license (COTAs will not be considered for this role)
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Skilled in conducting student evaluations and providing direct services
- Comfortable working with both elementary-aged children and early childhood populations
- Committed to onsite, in-person work Monday through Friday
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with educators and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to students, meeting both individualized and group needs
- Complete comprehensive evaluations as required at both the elementary school and Early Learning Center locations
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support student development
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to diverse student populations
- Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Support a smooth transition for students as you rotate between locations and adjust to post-maternity leave assignments
This full-time onsite contract spans August 24, 2026, to June 16, 2027, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.
