Job Description
Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting student communication and growth in a supportive, dynamic environment. You'll be working across a dedicated middle school site for grades 5-8 with a caseload of 35 students, as well as in several private school settings serving Preschool through 8th grade. Both in-person and virtual roles are available, each offering a distinct but equally rewarding experience. Virtual caseloads average 40-45, while in-person roles typically serve 65-70 students. This contract position runs from August 18th through June 7th, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC licensure; SLPAs considered for in-person roles
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery for ages preschool through middle school
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for varied caseloads
- Comfort adapting to different settings and collaborating with school teams
- AAC device experience is not crucial; private school sites have minimal to no AAC needs
- Bilingual abilities welcomed, though not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and evaluations for diverse caseloads, adjusting approach by school site
- Develop and implement IEPs and treatment plans for students across age groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress
- Maintain organized, timely documentation and compliance with school policies
