A fulfilling contract opportunity is available for a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to support school-aged students in the North Wilkesboro, NC area. The assignment spans the school year, from August 17th, 2026, to June 4th, 2027, and offers a consistent, part-time schedule of 30 hours per week over four days.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience working within school settings is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage a caseload of students with diverse communication needs
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing educational goals
  • Engage in ongoing communication with multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
