Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Memphis, Tennessee

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience working in an Operating Room setting
• Ability to circulate and/or scrub in surgical procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Assist surgical team members and maintain a safe, sterile environment
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond promptly to changes
• Document patient information and progress accurately
• Adhere to established protocols and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education activities

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
