Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating room.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to any changes or complications.
- Maintain strict sterilization standards and assist in preparing the operating area and instruments.
- Document all care provided and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, unencumbered RN license.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN (RN-OR).
- Demonstrated expertise in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and surgical documentation practices.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Schedule:
- Full-time contract position; schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.
