Job Description
Make an impact in K-12 education by supporting students’ social and emotional growth for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and covers multiple schools in the district, offering meaningful variety and the chance to collaborate with diverse teams. You'll serve as the district’s dedicated school psychologist, working 32–37.5 hours a week across all grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active School Psychologist credential
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior school-based experience preferred, with comfort managing a K-12 caseload
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work well with administrators, teachers, families, and other staff
- In-person availability for the full 2026-2027 academic year required
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Implementing and monitoring interventions to support academic and behavioral success
- Participating in IEP/504 meetings, providing expert insight on student needs
- Delivering direct and indirect counseling services in accordance with IEPs
- Consulting with educators and families to develop individualized support strategies
- Supporting positive school climates and fostering students’ well-being districtwide
