School Speech Language Pathologist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

Step into a vital role supporting students and staff in a school-based setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This is a contract opportunity beginning August 19th through December 23rd, with potential for extension throughout the entire academic year. You'll work Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in an engaging environment serving a caseload of approximately 45 students.

If you have experience as a school-based SLP and enjoy providing essential services through assessments and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), you'll thrive here. Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Skilled in completing IEPs and conducting evaluations
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 45 students
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student support
• Maintain accurate records and document progress efficiently
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as needed
