Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold active North Carolina SLP licensure.
  • Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience or strong interest in working in K-12 school settings.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to fostering positive relationships with students, families, and educational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and determine eligibility for services.
  • Develop treatment plans and provide therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success.
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
