This opportunity is based onsite in an intermediate school setting near Gurnee, IL, with openings for several specialized positions: 5th Grade Dual Math/Science (2 positions), 5th Grade Dual Social Studies/ELA (1 position), 6th Grade Dual Math/Science (1 position), and a K-2 English as a Second Language Teacher focused on grade-level responsibilities (PreK). The assignment runs from August 17 to May 27, 2027, offering a full-time schedule throughout the school year.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s)
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and effective instructional strategies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience or a keen interest in working with diverse student populations, especially English language learners

In this role, you will:
