School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Russiaville, Indiana
Job Description
Make a meaningful difference for students by supporting their speech and language development in an educational environment. A part-time, onsite opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to work collaboratively with a dedicated team, including an SLPA, in providing high-quality speech services to a diverse caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Understanding of IEP development, documentation, and service delivery
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, following established IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and school guidelines
- Work collaboratively with a supervising SLPA to support a shared caseload of approximately 55 students
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other support professionals regarding student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
Position Details:
- Contract position
- Located onsite at a school near Russiaville, IN
- Part-time: 3 flexible days per week; 8:00am – 3:45pm; total of 21.75 hours weekly
- Caseload shared with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
