School Speech Language Pathologist - Laurel, MD

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) for school-based SLP positions
• Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to delivering inclusive and culturally responsive therapy services

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to support student growth
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and collaborate closely with educators and families
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and services
• Foster a supportive environment that empowers students to reach their fullest communicative potential
