Job Description

This contract opportunity focuses on providing exceptional speech and language support to students in a dynamic educational setting. The district is currently finalizing its contracting process, with interviews beginning soon and decisions anticipated by the end of July.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) for school-based SLP positions
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to delivering inclusive and culturally responsive therapy services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to support student growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, IEP meetings, and collaborate closely with educators and families
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and services
- Foster a supportive environment that empowers students to reach their fullest communicative potential
