General Education Teacher | Chester, Pennsylvania

Take on a vital role supporting middle school students by teaching mathematics in a dynamic and resource-rich classroom environment. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, at a campus near Chester, PA. It's an ideal assignment for an experienced educator eager to make a real impact within an urban school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active teacher certification/licensure required for the assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree required (emergency teaching permit may be considered with degree)
• Previous experience in schools and specifically with middle school students
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
• Demonstrated mastery of math content and instructional techniques
• Capable of working with diverse learners; mostly general education students, with special education students supported separately
• Familiarity with creating lesson plans aligned to current state and district standards
• Ability to use formative assessment and differentiated instruction to drive learning
• Experience working in an urban school environment preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to work onsite between 8:30AM and 4:00PM (no alternate schedules accommodated)
• Completion of all required PA background clearances

Responsibilities:

• Deliver mathematics instruction in alignment with district curriculum and standards
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans utilizing appropriate resources
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues, including special education staff, to meet all students’ needs
