Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy Technician position is available in Nacogdoches, TX, offering a per diem schedule with consistent weekday hours. This role requires prior experience with a specific healthcare provider to ensure familiarity with site protocols and standards.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
- Monday and Tuesday of the following week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare practitioners accurately and efficiently.
- Provide clear, concise information to customers regarding medication use and safety.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to support patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold a valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is highly preferred.
- Prior work experience with the specific healthcare provider is mandatory.
